Johns Hopkins University is expanding! The University is adding a new science and technology park to provide a state-of-the art laboratory and office facilities to support the sophisticated research requirements of today’s innovative companies. Six new buildings will be added to the Park – one of which is 1812 Ashland. This building is designed to become an Innovation Hub for growing life science companies and will include over 150,000 square feet of lab and office space. Additionally, there will be 2,000 square feet of retail space that will serve as the social hub for innovation activities in the building.

Kenseal Construction Products had the opportunity to work closely with Commonwealth Wall Systems on the air and vapor barrier for this building. Our valued customer used Henry Blueskin SA, HE925, Henry 574 Blueskin LVC Adhesive and Air-Bloc® 32MR. During construction, the product was subject to an extensive lead time. In order to ensure consistent availability for the project, Kenseal planned 90 days out, stored material in our stocking location and delivered material to the job site when needed. Our customer was very happy with our attentive and timely service, which enabled them to keep the project on schedule!
